This unit is on solving systems of equations and their real-world applications. On Monday, the teacher covers the introduction to systems of equations and how to solve them by graphing. The next day the students learn how to solve using substitution. On Wednesday, the teacher shows the students how to solve using elimination. Thursday wraps up solving systems of equations with the real-world applications. This is where they learn what method is more useful for each scenario. Finally, on Friday the students will take a quiz and be allowed time to work on their projects. The following Monday the students would learn about linear inequalities, with Tuesday and Wednesday focusing on multiple variables and graphing the systems. Following those two sections, they would take another quiz to assess their knowledge on the material before they move onto another topic on Thursday.
